Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistan women's team will not travel to India for the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 to be played in India in 2025.
This year, due to the acceptance of the hybrid model, Pakistan's matches will be held at neutral venues. Mohsin Naqvi said that the neutral venue will be selected by ICC and India.
Mohsin Naqvi said, "Just like India did not play the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and they were allowed to play at a neutral venue, we will also play at whichever neutral venue is decided. When an agreement has been reached, it is important to follow it."
According to the hybrid model, India and Pakistan will play at neutral venues instead of playing in each other's country in all ICC tournaments held in India or Pakistan till 2027. The 2025 ICC Women World Cup is scheduled to be held between 29 September and 26 October 2025.
